At 21 she became the youngest editor of a national magazine at Dolly, tripling its circulation in four years. Kerry Packer then headhunted her to edit Cleo, which she built into the world's top-selling women's lifestyle magazine per capita, mentoring Mia Freedman and Deborah Thomas along the way.
On television she co-hosted Weekend Sunrise before joining Nine's Today Show, where she became its longest-serving female co-host and helped take it to number one. Her memoir, It Wasn't Meant To Be Like This, was an immediate best seller, one of Apple's Ten Best Books of 2021 and an Australian Book Industry Awards nominee. Her latest book is The Titanic Story of Evelyn.
